Dr. Paige Brown was born and raised in Katy, Texas and is thrilled to be back home to put down some roots. She graduated from Baylor University earning a bachelor’s degree in health science studies. She received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating Summa Cum Laude. While at UH, Dr. Brown was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and received the Ocular Instruments Award of Excellence, Metro Optics Excellence Award, Excellence in Vision Therapy Award, and a Clinical Letter of Excellence.
Her didactic training and clinical experience allowed her to become fluent in various types of patient care including geriatrics, pediatrics, contact lenses, binocular vision, ocular disease, and peri-operative care. Following graduation, Dr. Brown moved to Utah to pursue a position as a traveling optometrist and private practice doctor.
Dr. Brown’s experience treating patients in nursing facilities has allowed her to refine her skills and help patients that are not able to easily communicate. She applies this knowledge in clinical practice, and it gives her a unique perspective in how to respect and care for her patients, no matter the circumstance.
She has a special interest in ocular disease and the new treatments for dry eye and myopia. She is passionate about connecting with patients on a deeper level and prioritizing continuity of care.
Dr. Brown is licensed in Utah and Texas, where she is an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Dr. Brown is a member of the Texas Optometric Association, Utah Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with her husband, Joseph, whom she married in December 2020. They enjoy spending time outdoors and staying active. Dr. Brown welcomed her first baby, Oliver, in September of 2022.
